I spy a flapper doodle

Flapper Doodle print spotted on Julie Leah's blog yesterday! This print isn't currently available in the shop but I'm thinking of bringing it (or a revised version) back soon. Thanks, Julie!

Wall clocks

Society6 is now selling wall clocks, and a bunch of my designs are available on the new products. These six are my personal favorites. I can't believe how well the cropping turned out on the one in the bottom left -- it fits in the circle perfectly!

They're available in my society6 shop here.

Kindness is always fashionable

My fourth installment in my kindness series is this photograph. It was created with letters cut out of pink glitter cardstock -- I had hoped the camera would pick up more of the glittery sparkle but I'm still very happy with the result. It's available as a free printable here and on society6 here.

Be kind

This is the second free printable I created for the kindness series on my blog, Scathingly Brilliant. I had a lot of fun working with a faux-cross stitch style and can't wait to do more work in this style. You can download a free print of this design here, and it's also available in my society6 shop, here.

I spy a flapper doodle

It's always so fun when I happen to see one of my drawings in the background while doing my morning blog catch-up. This morning you can see a print of The Reading Lovers and Eloise takes a picture of Ramona on A Beautiful Mess!

New illustration: sweet dreams

A few nights ago my cats and I fell asleep like this, and I didn't want to ruin the moment by reaching for my phone to take a photo so I decided to draw it instead. Prints are available in my etsy shop and at society6.

Kindness is magic

My new year's resolution is to spread kindness, and as part of that resolution I started a weekly series on my personal blog, Scathingly Brilliant, where I'll be sharing a free kindness-themed printable each week, as well as ideas for random acts of kindness. My first free printable is this design, which you can download here. Just right-click and save. It's also available on various products at society6, here.

New artwork available on etsy and society6

The 12 new illustrations that I completed for my 2014 calendar are now available as prints in my etsy shop. They're also available in my society6 shop as posters, note cards, iPhone cases, mugs, pillows, tote bags and more. I especially like how they look on the tote bags, particularly the one pictured on the right, which I titled "The sunny side of the street." With one exception, the titles of my new pieces come from the lyrics to some of my favorite classic tunes.
